Minneapolis/Saint Paul Airport

The Minneapolis-St Paul Airport has two conveniently located terminal.  The main terminal being the Lndberg terminal and the second being the Humphrey Terminal.  Being a native of Chicago, I find  the Minneapolis - Saint Paul easy to naviagate, much better than the huge airport called O’hara, which is one of the busiest in the world.  Okay, back to MSP airport.

Minneapolis-St Paul Airport - The Hub of the Twin Cities
The Twin Cities are located in the heart of Minnesota, and enjoy a level of economic stability that drives the entire Upper Midwest. Their level of financial strength is reflected in the fact that population seems to grows outwards from their area. Suburbian residences have grown in concentric circles expanding outward from this economic hub in the heart of the state.

The surrounding cities constantly see a fluctuation of their population moving towards the Twin Cities seeking education and employment opportunities, as well as moving there to live and settle down. That aside, the constant flow of people is also due to the fact that the Twin Cities are home to a great many theaters for the arts, running the entire gamut from writers and poets, to musicians, to painters, theater actors, and dancers.

The vast number of colleges and the rich economy of both Minessota and St Paul have given rise to a steadily increasing demand in the areas of both art and sports, and the cities have only been too happy to promote both of these in great measure. To that end, the flow of tourists into the city and casual visitors from the other nearby cities for various art related and sporting events has also been increasing rapidly.

The main entry point for most people into the Twin Cities is the Minneapolis-St Paul airport. Set conveniently 30 minutes from both downtown Minneapolis and Downtown St Paul, it allows travelers easy access to both cities at a moment’s notice. Furthermore, carrier services with special set destinations run to all of the major landmarks of the two cities, giving visitors easy travel options to branch out from once they get off their flight.

These travel options aren’t limited to taxi sevices either, unlike some airports. The range of travel options from the Minneapolis-St Paul airport are wide and varied, including car rental options, a bus terminal leading to both cities, hotel shuttle services, and even a Light Rail Transit terminal that runs across the Twin Cities and connects the airport to most anywhere that a person might want to go. The key features behind these services is to offer travelers convenience, safety, and comfort on their journeys.

The airport itself also features the Northstar Crossing, a collection of over 100 retail shops and restaurants, virtually a small mall in and of itself. There is a huge variety of food ranging from pizza to gourmet cooking offered in the various restaurants, and one nice thing about Minnesota is that clothing isn’t taxed, so it’s a great place to find bargains on clothes and shoes. For travelers just passing through the airport enroute to other places, the shops also include services to forward the bought items to the buyer’s final destinations.

Speaking of malls however, one of the biggest attractions to the location of the Minneapolis St Paul airport is the Mall of America. It is the largest shopping center in the United States, and is actually located mere minutes from the airport. This monster shopping mall has over 500 stores, and each level is huge, running half a mile’s walking distance across. It’s so large that it even has it’s own park, underwater aquarium, and a Nascar Speedway. Some people actually fly into the airport for no other reason than to take up temporary residence in one of the nearby hotels and go on blissful shopping sprees at the Mall of America that last for days on end.

Given all of these factors, it’s easy to see why the Twin Cities have enjoyed the growth that they have. Not only do they make a point of keeping their economies booming, their residents also keep their culture alive and vibrant with a soul that doesn’t exclude outsiders, but rather attracts and welcomes anyone who wants to come in and enjoy him or herself. Even their airport reflects this quality of giving warm welcomes.
